Earlier this year, our Year 11 students had the valuable opportunity to take part in a workshop delivered by The Money Charity.

During the session, pupils explored how to read and understand a wage slip, look at where some of their earnings go, and the different deductions that come out of their pay. They also developed essential budgeting skills, helping them to plan and manage their finances in the future confidently.

It was a highly engaging and informative experience, equipping students with practical knowledge that will support them as they move towards greater financial independence.

In our KS3 maths lesson, learning went beyond the classroom as students got hands-on planting strawberry plants 🍓

We applied key maths skills in a real-life context, including calculating the cost of individual plants from a total price, and carefully measuring the diameter and height of plant pots. It was fantastic to see students engaging with practical problem-solving while developing their confidence in measurement and number skills.

A great example of how maths can be both meaningful and memorable!

We are so proud of our creative superstars! 🎨✨

KS3 have been getting hands-on with a conflict scheme, creating brilliant 3D clay sculptures and stunning Georgia O’Keeffe–inspired poppies 🌺👏

Meanwhile, our GCSE students have been experimenting with photography and printmaking for their coursework — and wow… the results are looking outstanding! 📸🖨️🔥
