🌟We’re Hiring – Part Time Nursery Cook Assistant 🌟

We are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Part Time Cook Assistant to support in our busy nursery kitchen.

🍎 Role Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation of healthy, balanced meals and snacks
• Supporting with food hygiene and safety standards
• Washing up and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen
• Helping to cater for children’s dietary requirements and allergies
• Working alongside our nursery cook as part of a team

🕒 Hours: Part time (hours to be discussed)
📍 Friendly, welcoming nursery environment

We are looking for someone who:

✨ Is passionate about healthy eating for young children
✨ Has good knowledge of food hygiene
✨ Is organised, hardworking and a team player
✨ Enjoys working in a childcare environment

Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

This Saturday, our dedicated staff attended a training conference with MB Early Years Consultancy to enhance their skills and stay at the forefront of early years practice! 📚✨

We hold high aspirations for our team because we believe every child deserves the best possible start in life. By investing in our staff, we ensure our little ones can thrive, belong, and achieve through exceptional care, learning, and support every day. 💛

What a magical day we had! Santa came to see all the children, and the little ones were full of smiles, excitement, and festive cheer. ✨

It was wonderful to see their happy faces as they chatted with Santa and enjoyed a special Christmas moment together. ❤️

A big thank you to all the children for making Santa’s visit so special — he can’t wait to see you again next year! 🎁

Last week we took our pre-school children to Storyhouse to watch the Beauty and the Beast pantomime ✨

This trip supported Understanding the World by helping children explore a new environment and learn about how live performances work in their local community. It also supported Expressive Arts and Design, inspiring creativity as they enjoyed the music, costumes, scenery, and storytelling, and sparking their imagination through the magic of theatre 🌹🎭

The children had a wonderful time and gained so much from this exciting and memorable outing 💛

When Leopards met Santa! 🎅✨

This morning, some of our Leopard children hopped on the bus into Chester city centre for a very special trip to the Enchanted Grotto! The excitement started from the moment we set off — even the bus ride was an adventure.

The grotto was movie-themed, and the children loved travelling through scenes from well-known films, meeting familiar characters along the way. Before meeting Santa himself, the children even created their very own mini movie using a green screen!

Throughout the trip, the children were chatting about everything they could see, building confidence in a completely new environment, exploring the world around them and throwing themselves into imaginative play — all through pure fun and excitement.

They were absolutely fantastic throughout the whole experience — we are so proud of them! 🌟

Yesterday, part of our management team travelled to Manchester for training with MB Early Years Consultancy

The training focused on the new Ofsted framework and effective leadership. It was an inspiring and informative day, and it was fantastic to meet so many passionate early years educators who share our commitment to high-quality practice.

We’re excited to bring back new ideas as we continue striving to give our children the very best start in life!

Swimming Fun for Preschool children 3+

Our current sessions finish on Wednesday, 19th November, and we’re excited to start a new 10-week block on Tuesday, 26th November!

Swimming isn’t just fun it’s a fantastic way for little ones to develop confidence in the water, coordination, and physical fitness from an early age. Plus, it’s a wonderful opportunity for social skills and building a love for active play.

Give your child the gift of confidence, fitness, and fun in the water! 💦

This morning, our little bears had an amazing adventure at Story House! 🐻✨

The children explored books and discovered new stories. Early experiences with reading help spark curiosity, build language skills, and create a lifelong love of learning. 📚💛
