Thursday 20th August is GCSE results day! Remember to attend school between 9-11 to collect your results.

It's also Sixth Form enrolment day! This is an important moment for our applicants to confirm their subject packages and receive advice for next steps based on their achieved grades. Whether you're a CIS Year 11 transforming into one of our wonderful new sixth form students, or you're joining us from elsewhere, pop in to see the team and collect your enrolment pack 🎓🎒🏫

A huge congratulations to our Digital Media Class of 2026 on another fantastic set of results!

Digital Media is at the heart of our vocational offer at CIS and, once again, our students have absolutely delivered. Every student studying the Cambridge Technical Level 3 qualification achieved a pass grade or higher, maintaining our brilliant 100% pass rate. 💯👏

We are incredibly proud of the talent, creativity and hard work of our students, and the staff who have supported them throughout their studies. 💙

Year 12 art students enjoyed a workshop with a professional artwork - they created some amazing pieces!

From lecture theatres to future careers 🎓✨ Our Year 12 students enjoyed a visit to the University of Chester, learning about degree apprenticeships and experiencing university life firsthand.

We are delighted to be working with the Hospice of the Good Shepherd as our charity of the year for 2026-7 academic year.

Year 12 team mentors visited the hospice last week to get started with plans for supporting our students to become ambassadors for community engagement. We are so excited to support the charity next year!

🎬 From classroom to film studio… this is what opportunity looks like at CIS.

As part of their work experience, our students stepped behind the scenes at Lloyds Banking Group’s film studio, creating their own video content and developing skills in storytelling, communication, creativity and digital production.

Experiences like this give our students the chance to explore the world of work, build confidence, and discover what they’re capable of beyond the classroom.
