Brilliant to work with Year 5 at John Randall in Telford as they took part in our 'Snap Trap' online safety session last week! 🎭📱

We used interactive theatre to bring some important online safety issues to life, giving pupils the chance to step into different situations, share their ideas and consider how they might respond.

Fantastic to work with Year 6 pupils at Ladygrove Primary School & Nursery using interactive theatre to explore online risks in an engaging and memorable way!📱🌟

Pupils had the opportunity to think about how to make safer choices online and learn where to turn for help when something doesn’t feel right.

We were also delighted to welcome parents, helping to open up those important conversations around online safety that can continue at home. 💬🏠

One of our favourite parts of delivering our ‘Snap Trap’ online safety session is finding out what pupils take away from the experience.

Following our session at The Firs School, we were so pleased to receive lots of wonderful feedback from pupils about what they remembered, what they learned and the parts of the session that stood out to them.

Are your pupils equipped to stay safe in an ever-changing online world? 🤔📱

As children spend more time connecting and communicating online, it’s increasingly important that both pupils and parents understand the risks that can come with it.

Earlier this week delivered our “Snap Trap” online safety session to Year 5 and 6 pupils and parents at St George's C of E Primary School Telford.

Through theatre, storytelling and interactive discussion, we encouraged pupils to think about the choices they make online.

Together, we explored:

⭐ The impact of cyber-bullying and how to respond
⭐ Social media misuse and the pressures children can face
⭐ Peer pressure and coercive behaviour, and how to recognise it
⭐ How to make SMART choices and stay safe online

Our new year 7 cohort have settled in brilliantly and are already enjoying high school life. Today all year 7 students enjoyed a theatre workshop today with actors from 2Engage. We loved working with Cheshire's The Grange new Year 7 cohort this morning using interactive theatre and discussion to explore the exciting opportunities (and some of the worries) that can come with starting high school. 📚🚌

The “Moving Up” session gave pupils the opportunity to ask questions and challenge worries, helping them feel more confident as they begin this exciting new chapter. 🌟

We kicked off the new academic year with a group icebreaker session at the University of Salford to launch this year’s “Plug Into Salford”programme.🧊🎉

This initiative is all about supporting young people who are the first in their family to attend university, helping them to transition into student life with confidence.

It was fantastic to see students getting involved in our activities, meeting new people and having open conversations about their hopes, challenges and fears as they begin this exciting new chapter.
