🎭📱5 ways “The Snap Trap” supports e-safety education in primary schools!👇

1️⃣ It’s interactive.

“The Snap Trap” isn’t just something pupils watch - they actively take part. At key moments, we pause the action, giving pupils the chance to step in, reflect, and help shape safer choices.

2️⃣ It’s based on real stories.

The session brings realistic scenarios to life, inspired by the experiences of young people making the learning relevant, relatable, and impactful.

3️⃣ Parents are part of the conversation.

Parents are invited to attend, giving them the opportunity to learn alongside their child and continue important online safety discussions at home.

4️⃣ It builds confidence to make safer choices.

Pupils explore how to respond to tricky situations online, helping them feel more confident and prepared in real life.

5️⃣ It reinforces key e-safety messages.

From SMART rules to safe communication, pupils leave with practical tools to help them stay safe online.

More Summer School! 📸✨

Through drama dance and music, this year’s theme of “The Future” gave young people the opportunity to explore what the future could look like, reflect on the changes shaping our world and share their own hopes for the future. 🌍

Alongside the creative activities, they also got a taste of university life by spending time on campus and learning more about the opportunities that higher education can offer. 🎓🌟

The Snap Trap has reached pupils from 41 primary schools across Cheshire West and Chester this term, helping young people build the knowledge and confidence to stay safe online!📱🎉

🎭Using theatre and guided discussion, we worked with Year 6 pupils to:

- Recognise the risks associated with platforms like Snapchat, Instagram and WhatsApp.

- Understand the impact of cyberbullying, peer pressure and online grooming.

- Learn how to speak up and seek support when something doesn't feel right.

💬We are proud to be starting important conversations that continue beyond the classroom.
