☀️ Another amazing week at HAF! ☀️

We kicked things off with Jungle Adventure Day, where the children got creative with animal scratch art and masks, enjoyed den building and loved taking on different roles in our very own Purple Paws Vets! 🐯🌿🐾

Next came Healthy Heroes, where everyone made their own healthy yoghurt and fruit snack (with a few chocolate chips for a little treat!), before serving up delicious balanced meals in our role play restaurants. 🍽️

Our Splash & Play Day was definitely a favourite! 💦 From water games to an epic water fight, everyone had the best time cooling off in the sunshine.

We rounded off the week with Colour Splash Day, creating our very own tie-dye T-shirts🌈👕 They’ve turned out amazingly and just need one more sunny day to dry before they’re ready to take home!

What a fantastic week we’ve had, packed full of creativity and lots of smiles! 💛

☀️ What a fantastic first week we’ve had at HAF! ☀️

We’ve had so much fun diving into our themed days, from Under the Sea with ocean sensory trays and jellyfish crafts, to People Who Help Us, where the children enjoyed doctor and dentist role play before taking on our exciting Fight the Fire challenge, working together to rescue the teddy! 🚒💦

We also became Bird Watchers by making feeders to hang around our forest area, before finishing the week with Mini Makers Day, getting creative with clay modelling and stone painting🎨🪨

Most importantly, the children have spent the week laughing and playing with friends and creating wonderful memories together 💛

Hopefully by now the tears have settled. Year 6, we will miss you dearly. It has been an absolute privilege being your teacher and since day one, you have all risen to the challenge and done so with empathy, kindness and enthusiasm.
Parents - I cannot thank you enough for the generous gifts and cards. Not only will I miss an incredible bunch of children, but I will also miss working with such amazing families who have given our school and children unwavering support all year.
Have a great summer and best of luck for the future (you are all welcome back anytime for anything you need). Enjoy your party this evening!

We hope you all have an amazing six weeks off and enjoy every minute! 💜

We had a lovely time after school for our Y6 end of year festival. We hope all our children and families had a great time too.

Tomorrow is our final day and with that comes our graduation ceremony. The ceremony begins at 10am (please arrive at 9:45am) and will finish approximately 11:15am. It will be very warm in the school hall so please ensure you bring a drink and a fan if you have one.

Polite reminder: young children are not permitted to attend the event.

Lastly, we received our SATS results today and we will share these with parents tomorrow when we send home your child’s school report. The reason for the delay in reports was simply because we were waiting for the results to be released so that your child’s report reflects their attainment outcomes.
