Reading, reading and more reading this week! What a week it has been!
We would like to kindly ask the support of our purple family. If you have any children’s reading books sat at home on the shelf that would be suitable for our new class libraries, we would welcome donations with open arms provided they are in good condition. If you would like to donate, please pass the books onto your child’s class teacher so that they can be sorted into the appropriate year group.

Thank you to a very special young lady from year 2 and her family who have gone out of their way this week to donate some quality texts. We could not be more grateful.

Have a lovely weekend 💜

This afternoon, Year 1 and Year 2 enjoyed a fun Try-Day Friday in the classroom, where we had the opportunity to taste some new and unfamiliar fruits! 🍓🍍🍉

We tried mango, strawberries, pineapple, watermelon and dragon fruit. The children were especially excited to try the dragon fruit, and it was definitely a favourite!

It was wonderful to see everyone being so adventurous and willing to try something new!

Today’s the day! ⛰️💜 Theo is climbing Ben Nevis to raise money for our school, and we couldn’t be more proud of him!

Wishing Theo and his family the very best of luck for the climb — you’ve got this! 💜💜

Theo is so close to reaching his fundraising goal, so if you’re able to make a final donation, it would be hugely appreciated. We know how much it would mean to Theo to reach his target! 🙌💜

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported him so far!

A group photo from today’s Open the Book assembly with Lindsay. We love seeing the confidence the children show as they bring the stories to life! Todays assembly was all about the story of David!🌟

WHOLE SCHOOL CAKE SALE – TOMORROW!
Friday 25th September

Tomorrow, we will be holding a whole school cake sale to support Theo, who is taking on the challenge of climbing Ben Nevis to raise money for his school! 🏔️

All funds raised from the cake sale will be donated to Theo’s fundraising campaign.

We would be incredibly grateful for any cake donations to help make the sale a success. All cakes will be available to buy tomorrow for a minimum donation of 50p.

Let’s get behind Theo and help him reach his fundraising goal! 💙

Thank you for your support!
