The goal of the project is to develop the ability of STE(A)M teachers to carry out educational activities in forests and parks, taking into account inclusive practices for students with special educational needs and disabilities.

INTRODUCING A NEW PROJECT STEAM in the Forest

The aim of the STE (A) M IN THE FOREST: AN INCLUSIVE APPROACH TO FOREST SCHOOL FOR STE (A) M TEACHERS project, co-funded by the Erasmus + program, is to develop the ability of STE (A) M * teachers to carry out educational activities in forests and parks, taking into account inclusive practices for students with special educational needs (hereinafter, SEN) and disabilities through the creation of:

-An international network of 27 STE (A) M and BES teachers that allows them to share forest school methodology and practices for inclusive education
-A new online teacher course "Teaching STE (A) M in Forests" and experimentation with over 30 teachers across the EU
* Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (and art e.g. visual arts, music, etc.).

DIRECT recipients of the project are:
STE (A) M teachers of primary and lower secondary schools, both STEM * and art (visual arts, music, etc.).
Special education teachers (SEN) of primary and lower secondary schools
Participation is FREE and includes a week of job shadowing activities to share knowledge and skills on the forest school methodology in Dublin, Ireland, in October 2022.

Day 4 – FIRST THINK, THEN GO
After establishing groups make a list of useful things in a activity (in general).
Then swap the papers with another group and order the things in a scale of importance.

Explain the story they gave to you to your first group.
This activity might be a help with the comprehension of a text (all of these texts were talking about the benefits of the nature) and it could improve your presentation.
