Huntington Under 5's Preschool

Huntington Under 5's Preschool We are a Preschool for children aged 2 to 5 years, based in Huntington, Chester.

Our vision is that all children are happy, safe and enjoy learning in our stimulating and nurturing environment. We work together with parents and carers to ensure that every child has the best start in life. Our resources and activities are based on the Early Years Foundation Stage, and we offer a range of choices, experiences and opportunities to enable children to grow physically, cognitively, emotionally, socially and creatively to become confident, independent and equipped for the transition to school.

🐯🦓 WEDNESDAY’S WILD FUN! 🦒🐘

Yesterday was Animal Dress Up Day and we absolutely loved seeing all of our little animals come to life! 🦁🐵🦒 So many amazing costumes and lots of imaginative play!

❄️🐻 We also explored our winter animal sensory tray, getting hands-on with different textures and discovering some chilly animal-themed fun!

🌴🧺 And we went “Down in the Jungle” for some very important washing! 🐒👕 The children enjoyed washing the animals’ clothes and hanging them out on the washing line — perfect for developing those fine motor skills while having lots of fun!

🦁✂️🐍 What a ROARSOME day we’ve had! 🐍✂️🦁

Our little lions have been busy today! 🦁 The children had lots of fun snipping away at their spaghetti manes with scissors — chop, chop, chop! ✂️🍝 This was a great way to practise those all-important fine motor and scissor skills.

We also got our paintbrushes out and painted some super colourful lions! 🎨🦁 Tomorrow, we’ll be giving them their faces and sticking on their spaghetti manes to make our lions come to life! 👀🦁

And we can’t forget our slithery friends… 🐍✨ We finished off our snakes too, and they are looking absolutely fantastic!

We’ve certainly been busy little explorers in our wild animal world! 🌿🐾💚
