🌍 This Summer, the Spinney Holiday Club will be using the power of imagination to travel "Around the World’ ✈️

Join us for an exciting summer holiday club where every week we'll "travel" to a different continent or country and discover its culture through fun games, creative crafts, exciting challenges, music, stories, and hands-on activities!

From exploring famous landmarks to trying traditional games and learning about fascinating customs, each week brings a brand-new adventure for children to enjoy while making new friends and creating unforgettable memories.

Running throughout the school holidays, from the 20th of July to the 28th August, the Spinney Holiday Club is a fun and friendly place for children of primary school age.

We look forward to see new and returning children to our lovely Holiday Club ❤️

This week the children at Bell Meadow have enjoyed lots of wonderful crafts to celebrate 80 years since VE Day. We also had our very own party tea in the garden.

A huge well done to the Spinney Team for completing their Level 3 in Paediatric First Aid 🥳. For some of the newer staff it was their first time completing the course and for others, it was their 3 year renewal.

We feel it is so important to have all of our staff trained to a high level of Paediatric First Aid in order to provide them with confidence and create a safe environment.

A big thank you as always to the fantastic
Adam from Peers & Rooney Training Limited for delivering yet another fantastic First Aid course which was both informative and enjoyable.

Adam has provided the Level 3 Paediatric First Aid training for the Spinney Hoole & Spinney Bell Meadow for many years and we highly recommend him.

The other fantastic news is that he has very kindly supplied us with our very own
Automated external defibrillator (AED) to keep on site at The Spinney Hoole (we have access to a community AED on the Business Park at Bell Meadow).

Something we hope we never have to use but extremely vital to have if ever a situation that requires it occurs.

Again, a huge thank you to Adam for this amazing gesture!

🌲 The children have been making the most of the wonderful autumnal months & the lovely, scrunchy, golden leaves. 🍂

There has been lots of talk about Hedgehogs and how they will begin to look for somewhere to sleep over the winter months. 🦔

This inspired them to collect leaves to make a cosy Hedgehog home and create some lovely pictures. 💚
