🧸 15 or 30 minute slots to get specialist tailored support with your own slings & carriers, or try before you buy and hire from the sling library. 15 mins is enough to focus on one carrier option, while 30 mins can offer 2-3 options 😊

📍Congleton Family Hub: we also hold sling library alongside the Cherubs breastfeeding support groups every other Monday. These are drop-in events but booking a 15 min slot does help us to prepare and ensure we have time to help you 🥰

I wanted to share a little update, as things have been a little quieter here recently 🤍

The past few weeks have been quite challenging on a personal level, and I’ve needed to take a step back to focus on my family and my own capacity.

If you’ve been waiting on a reply, booking, or support, thank you so much for your patience. I’m really aware that I haven’t been as responsive as I usually aim to be, and I truly appreciate your understanding.

Chester Sling Library is still here and running, and I care deeply about supporting you and your little ones safely and confidently. I’m just moving at a slightly slower pace for now, so responses and availability may take a little longer than usual.

🌸 March events are here and spaces are going fast!

🌼 Whether you need some support with your own sling or carrier, or would like guidance to find a suitable option that’s safe and comfortable, we can help.

🌸 Book your 15 minute or 30 minute slot at Chester Sling Library at Mickle Trafford. You’ll find us in the first room inside The Shrewsbury Arms on Warrington Road. 15 mins is enough to try 1 carrier safely. If you want to try multiple carriers, or are completely new to babywearing you will be best with the 30 minute slot. If you need more support, I can also offer home visits (DM to enquire).

Join Sam at our Sling Sessions in March, held at Nantwich and Congleton Children's Centres within the Cherubs Groups.

🩷🌼 2 weeks of carrier hire for £10 throughout Feb & March 2026 🩷🌼

🌼 March is a special month for us, as it’s the first anniversary of me completing my babywearing consultancy training, and also my littlest baby’s second birthday 🥹🥰 🥳 So it seemed only right to celebrate with you all, by offering 2 weeks for the price of 1 on standard carrier hires. Our standard sling hire rates of £10 per week, per carrier, will be applied to new hires after 1st April.

🦓 This doesn’t affect Artipoppe carrier hire which is £25 per week. And newborn stretchy wrap hire will continue at £5 per week for the foreseeable future. We also offer general discounts for longer term hires.

📦 Postal hire is also available if you aren’t local to me, and this special rate still applies (although additional postal costs will apply).

👀 You can browse the full sling library on our website, and reserve whichever carrier you like. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, or want any more info just DM and I’ll do my best to help 🥰

I will be adding new carriers regularly too (excited to unbox our new package ASAP!) so please do ask if you have a particular carrier in mind, I may not have listed them all yet online 😅

⭐️ We’re back at our temporary venue, on Monday 9th February 11.30am-2pm.⭐️

💙 15 or 30 minute slots are available and pre-booking is essential. You’ll get 1 week of free sling hire included in your ticket, or a tailored fit check and troubleshooting session for your own carrier, and additional hire is available at only £10.

❤️ While you’ve made it out of the house, it’s also a lovely opportunity to grab a hot drink and cake or lunch, before or after your session.

💙 My aim is to help you leave your session feeling calm and confident, knowing you have a carrier that’s safe, comfortable and enjoyable to wear. Soak up those baby cuddles and start the week with some valuable babywearing knowledge 🥰🫶

❤️ If you can’t make it this time, I’ll be back every 2 weeks and will keep you updated with the venue situation!

🪜 At The Chester Fields we will be upstairs on the mezzanine so please leave your prams behind and carry your baby up (in arms, carrier or car seat) - we can help you if needed.

It’s time for me to say goodbye!

I’m handing over the running of Chester Sling Library to Samantha this week so over the next few days I’ll be disappearing from social media and running things behind the scenes.

Over the years I have had the pleasure of meeting hundreds of families, cuddled countless babies and supported so many of you to babywear. It’s been a wonderful experience so THANK YOU to everyone who has been part of it. I will miss you but I’m delighted to be leaving you in very capable hands of Sam.
