🐾🐶🐹 A very special visit to preschool today! 🐹🐶🐾

A huge thank you to the lovely team from # Liverpool University Veterinary for coming to visit us today! ❤️

The children had a fantastic time learning all about animals and pets. They got to meet, stroke and hold the guinea pigs🐹

The children were also able to see how vets care for animals. They watched as Jessie the dog had an X-ray and then had her broken leg bandaged. 🐶🩹 What a great way to bring their learning to life!

Dan also put the children to the test with a fun quiz about their knowledge of animals and talked to them about the different pets they have at home. 🐾

It was such an exciting, hands-on and educational morning, and the children absolutely loved it! 🌟

Thank you so much for visiting us and giving the children such a wonderful experience! 💕🐾

Our preschool children had a wonderful trip to our local church café today! ⛪️☕️

On the way, we spotted some lovely squirrels 🐿️, which was very exciting! Once we arrived, the children enjoyed playing with the toys🧸🧩

And of course, we finished off our visit with some delicious toast! 🍞😋

A huge thank you to our wonderful Alice for creating a beautiful Colour Monster basket for the children! 🌈💛

The basket gives the children a lovely opportunity to talk about their feelings, recognise different emotions and begin to understand how they are feeling in a safe and supportive way.

Understanding and managing emotions is such an important part of children’s Personal, Social and Emotional Development, helping them to build self-awareness, confidence and the skills they need to express and regulate their feelings.

The children have absolutely loved exploring the basket today, talking about the different emotions and sharing their thoughts and feelings. 🥰🌈

We’d like to say a massive thank you to our Preschool Chair, Lizzy, and Rich, and to the Community Association for all your support in helping us get our new toilet in the preschool room! 🚽👏🏼

A special thank you to Rachael Whelan and Community Association Chair Phil Lathaen for everything you’ve done to help make this happen. Your support means so much to our preschool and the children who use it. 🥰

The Children have loved coming in to preschool talking about holidays, camping weekends. Following the children’s interests a parent very kindly borrowed us his camper van for the day! The children loved it ⛺️⛺️🚐
