The preparation and production of a Delivery Framework document will enable the site to be specifically assessed in terms of constraints and opportunities for its development and will involve a team of sub consultants dealing with transport, flood, noise, ecology, ground conditions and archaeology technical matters. The Development Framework will provide the site specific justification for the Student Campus development through justifying the need, scale and phasing of the Student Campus. It will assess the Green Belt function of the land in this location and identify and create long term Green Belt boundaries focussed upon the new Country Park proposal. It will set the Area Wide Framework linking Blacon Regeneration Area with the University Campus and City Centre and it will test options to improve the linkage between these areas for sustainable transport (including Park and Ride / Cycle).

If you want to see this project happen at your University then act now
There has been a lot of mis-information written by those who would oppose the Student Village. We would like to set the record straight for the students of Chester and encourage you to help us.
If you would like.
1. A 21st century campus with world class accommodation,
2. A safe, secure surrounding in which to live and learn
3. Protection from unscrupulous landlords offering in many cases unacceptable and sub- standard accommodation
4. A world class sports institute and gymnasium run by the Redgrave team
If you want all this then we need your help now.
We need you to send us a letter of support now to show this is what the students of the University of Chester want for their education. It’s not difficult, just follow the link below – that’s all we need.
Oh, and there's a couple of other big bonuses for the city and its people if you can help us .
By supporting this project you also
1. Secure inward investment in to Chester of £100 million
2. Economic benefit from the project of £284 million
3. The creation of 1000 jobs while the project is being developed
4. The creation of 120 apprenticeships 5. The creation of over 200 full time jobs.
This is a project where everyone wins. Without your help it may not happen. Our reports say as many as 2,300 people would want quality accommodation on a student campus. We need to see that support from you now.
