After 9 years of teaching dance fitness, with all the heatwaves this year, I finally decided it was time to get my legs out and wear shorts! โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿคฃ And you know whatโ€ฆ it was actually rather liberating, why have I not done this before?! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ˜‚

In fact, I loved it so much that I really didnโ€™t want to put my tight leggings back on again! ๐Ÿ˜† So I set myself a little challenge, and so did Jacki from our Frodsham Majestic Moversโ€ฆwe wanted to keep going in our shorts until the end of September.๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฉณ

Wellโ€ฆ I didnโ€™t quite make it but Jacki did! ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ‘ So I have to admit defeat! ๐Ÿคฃ ๐–๐„๐‹๐‹ ๐ƒ๐Ž๐๐„ ๐‰๐€๐‚๐Š๐ˆ! ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿฉณ๐ŸŽ‰ I think we need a rematch next summer! ๐Ÿ˜‰โ˜€๏ธ

I wanted to give a big HELLO to our fabulous Frodsham Majestic Movers โ€” and celebrate the fact that this wonderful class has now been running for TWO YEARS! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰ Honestlyโ€ฆ I canโ€™t quite believe it! Where has that time gone?! ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ’—

Over the past two years, Monday mornings have been filled with music, dancing, stretching, strengthening, laughter, friendship and plenty of smiles. ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ˜Š

As I celebrate another year of life, I am reflecting on how lucky I am to have Dance Movers as my job ๐Ÿ˜€

I love going out to my classes and seeing my Dance Movers each week, having a dance, getting moving and having a natter ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿผ

It is lovely to have a great friend, Nikki, to share this Dance Movers journey with.

Ladies, I have some exciting ideas bubbling away in my head and I am looking forward to exploring them in the year ahead!

It would have been my brothers birthday today at 77 years young โ€ฆsadly he passed away peacefully in his sleep on the 12th of Aug 2026 โ€ฆ after 10 years living at Lavender Villa care home in hoole .
His funeral took place yesterday a very moving beautiful service . JC.Clark took care of him taking him on his last journey to the Crematorium in Blacon , passing by his favourite cake shop .. Chatwins in hoole and passing over the bridge where he used to have his business JER Domestic appliances in lower brook street near the station ..
Once there he was carried in by my sons Adam Tudor Kieran Tudor and
Owain Tudor โ€ฆ the beautiful flowers created by Emma Tudor my daughter in law
Claire Vicars โ€ฆ. celebrant , led the service she spoke of John with such empathy and kindness , there were tears and laughter and the photographic tribute was a joy to watch โ€ฆ bringing back many Happy memories โ€ฆ
May you rest in peace now my brother
and be free โค๏ธ

It's been great catching up with our lovely Dance Movers and welcoming some new faces across the classes ๐Ÿ˜€

Looking forward to starting a new Dance Movers class in Hartford this Wednesday; 7-8pm at The Grange School Pavilion, there has been a lot of interest which is very exciting! ๐Ÿ’ƒ

Congratulations to my Mum on her Lifetime Achievement Award for Classical Sequence at the Le Classique de Danse Awards, presented at the fabulous Blackpool Winter Gardens ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™Œ

My Mum really has devoted most of her life to dance from helping my Granny with The Killip School of Dance to taking it over and still running it to this day!
Her dedication to her pupils is admirable and she has worked hard to raise the profile of Isle of Man sequence dancing, where they now contend with the best in the UK ๐Ÿ™Œ
