๐Ÿง™๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ My favourite moment this week, just sitting after a busy morning helping a little one fall to sleep by holding their hand. Just a shame I couldn't get into my own camp bed and have a nap too ๐Ÿง™๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

It's been awhile since I shared Neave's Meningitis story but with the current outbreak of MenB in Kent I thought a reminder of signs and Symptoms would be helpful.

Neave caught Meningococcal ( Men B) septicaemia when she was 1 years old. We are very grateful that our local GP Surgery (Boughton Health Centre) acted very quickly gave her an injection and blue lighted us to the hospital. She was very poorly for what felt like a lifetime but was extremely lucky to come out with no lasting side effects. For that we will be forever grateful! Neave had no rash, she was a bit lethargic and hot in the morning, so please take 5 mins to remind yourselves of the signs and symptoms.

Children born before 2015 would have not had the vaccine for Men B!

๐ŸŒŸ What a fun-filled week weโ€™ve had at Muggle HQ! ๐ŸŒŸ
Hereโ€™s a little peek at our adventuresโ€ฆ

๐Ÿฆ‹ Monday โ€“ Zoo Day!
We headed off to the zoo and explored so many amazing animals. One of the biggest highlights was definitely the butterfly house. The children were absolutely mesmerised as the butterflies fluttered right past their noses.

๐Ÿ‘ Tuesday โ€“ Walton Hall Gardens
After the slight disappointment of not spotting any sheep at the zoo, we made our way to Walton Hall Gardens. The play area was a huge hit, and we loved wandering around the childrenโ€™s zoo. We rounded it all off with a lovely picnic lunch before heading back to Muggle HQ.

๐ŸŽจ Wednesday โ€“ Playgroup Creations
A morning full of creativity. We painted with dabbers and made beautiful collages using flowers and glue. Sticky hands and big smiles all around.

๐ŸŒท Thursday โ€“ Motherโ€™s Day Magic
We met up with friends and spent the day planting bulbs for Motherโ€™s Day, decorating pots, and colouring pictures. A perfect mix of fresh air, creativity, and teamwork.

โœจ A busy week, full of learning, exploring, and making memories together. Canโ€™t wait to see what next week brings!

๐ŸŒŸ What a busy and exciting week weโ€™ve had last week! ๐ŸŒŸ

Weโ€™ve went here, there, and everywhere โ€” from the playcentre to the farm, to playgroup, and even a fabulously messy session at Muggle HQ!

๐Ÿฎ The farm trip was full of smiles as we fed the animals and explored all the play equipment. Thereโ€™s nothing quite like fresh air, muddy boots, and happy little faces.

๐ŸŽจ Messy play at Muggle HQ was a huge hit! The children loved using hammers to break apart the hardened cornflour and rescue the daffodils โ€” equal parts fun, chaos, and creativity.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ Back at Muggle HQ we rolled up our sleeves and helped make a delicious leek and potato soup. All the children did an amazing job chopping and peeling the potatoes and trying out all the different utensils.

A week full of adventures, handsโ€‘on fun, and plenty of memories made ๐Ÿ’›โœจ

๐ŸŒž What a wonderful week we've had!
We've been making the most of the lovely weather and spending plenty of time outdoors.

On Monday, we enjoyed a beautiful walk along the river, danced in the bandstand, tucked into a picnic in the park, played in the playground, and finished with a tasty drink and snack at the cafรฉ.

Tuesday took us into the woods, where we explored our environment, played with friends, and chatted about our favourite moments over lunch.

On Wednesday, we celebrated Holi at playgroup, using bright colours to mark the end of winter and welcome the lighter days ahead.

We wrapped up the week on Thursday with a fantastic Music class led by Amanda from Live the Beat. Everyone loved singing, moving, and joining in with the actions. We also headed to the field for races and games of chase.

๐ŸŒˆ A joyful, active week full of sunshine, colour, and fun!

๐Ÿง™๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ Half Term๐Ÿง™๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

We loved having our bigger friends off with us last week. We raced on the field, played in the park, enjoyed a Chinese Banquet and had so much fun playing different games. They taught us new builds with the magnetic blocks and Lego, played what's the time Mr Wolf (even looking past 100 not being a time ๐Ÿ™ˆ), helped create a huge dragon head and taught us about tessellating shapes and patterns we can create with them.

We will miss them next week but only 6 more weeks until they are off again ๐Ÿคฉ
