Today we have a local artist and a lady from the local council come in and do some clay work for a new piece of art that is being made to go in the park outside of nursery.

The children were tasked with making butterflies, snails, ladybirds, worms and dragonflies.

The children did a fantastic job of sculpting the clay into the animal they had chosen to make.

We are all very exited to see the final piece of artwork completed 🐞 🐌

Intergeneration visit 🌼

Intergenerational links are so important for young children as it supports social and emotional development, children learn from experiences as the older generation are able to share stories, skills and knowledge with the children, and it offers an understanding of community.

The zoo lab workshops are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and create memorable learning experiences 🐸

🌍 Exploring the world museum in Liverpool 🦕

Our owls children have spent the day in Liverpool exploring the world museum looking at natural history, ancient civilisation and space science.

Visiting museums help children grow by sparking curiosity, building critical thinking skills and hands on learning experiences.
