At The Firs, we believe every child has a story to tell.
Earlier this year, our pupils became authors, illustrators and heroes of their own adventures by designing book covers starring themselves, before writing the blurb to bring their stories to life.
It was a wonderful reminder that books don't just help children discover new worlds—they help them discover themselves too.

We're incredibly proud to share that The Firs School has been commended/shortlisted in the Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2026 in the Small Independent School of the Year category.
