“I’m so happy” said a little girl when digging. Soil has been transported to the mud kitchen to make ‘chocolate cake’ and ’beef pie’. The children also rolled conkers in paint to mix the colours together and this art work will be displayed at our harvest festival on Wednesday 21st October. They then worked together to wash the conkers .🌳🌱🌎☀️

Lots of learning with autumn treasures so far this morning. The children have held each pumpkin and have been thinking which are heavy and which are lighter. They then painted them mixing the colours, then washed them ready to roll down the wooden ramps. Pumpkin playdough has also been made. We are celebrating harvest festival on Wednesday 21st October at drop off so please stay and listen to our songs, poems and have a look at our art work.
