We’re so excited to launch our brand-new Mum & Baby Reformer Pilates Course, led by our lovely instructor, Millie.

Designed for postnatal mums, these classes will help you rebuild strength, improve posture and enjoy some time for yourself—and the best part? You can bring your baby with you! 🤍

We are so excited to share our amazing plans for this year’s Conkers Summer Holiday Club! We’ve planned three action-packed weeks full of fun, adventure and exciting activities to keep everyone entertained throughout the summer.

🧪 Week 1 – W/C Monday 3rd August: Science Week
Get ready for fascinating experiments, messy investigations, exciting discoveries and lots of hands-on fun!

⚽ Week 2 – W/C Monday 10th August: Sports Week
A week full of energetic games, team challenges, obstacle courses and sporting fun for everyone to enjoy.

🌿 Week 3 – W/C Monday 17th August: Nature Explorers Week
Join us as we head outdoors to explore nature, enjoy scavenger hunts, woodland adventures, wildlife activities and creative nature crafts.

💷 Prices
⭐ Full Day (8:00am – 6:00pm): £20
⭐ Half Day (9:00am – 2:00pm): £15
⭐️ For children aged 5 to 11

🌿🌳 Forest School Adventures 🌳🌿

Our Forest School sessions have been full of fun, discovery and adventure! 🍂✨

The children have loved exploring the great outdoors, getting hands-on with nature and learning all about the wonderful wildlife around them. From hunting for bugs and identifying plants to building dens, creating nature art and discovering woodland habitats, every visit has been an exciting opportunity to learn through play.

Forest School encourages curiosity, confidence and teamwork while helping children develop a love and respect for the natural world. There have been muddy boots, smiling faces and plenty of unforgettable moments as we explored, investigated and let our imaginations run wild!

We can’t wait for many more outdoor adventures together! 🌲🍁🐞🪵🍄💚

Preschool BBQ Fun! 🌞🍔🌭

Our preschool children had a wonderful time enjoying a special BBQ together! There were lots of smiles, laughter, tasty treats, and plenty of fun spent outdoors with friends. It was a lovely way to celebrate and make happy memories together. ❤️

🍣 Rolling, creating, and tasting! Our little ones had a wonderful time making their own sushi while developing their fine motor skills and exploring new foods. 🌈

🌼🌿 Nature’s Colours – Turmeric Art Fun! 🌿🌼

Our little learners had a brilliant time at Forest School exploring natural tie-dye using turmeric 🌟

We’ve been very lucky this year to welcome lots of new baby chicks into our nursery 🐥💛 The children have loved stroking them and watching them grow from the moment they hatched. Such a special experience for everyone involved!

✨ We’re Hiring – Cleaner ✨

Chestnut House Day Nursery is looking for a dedicated Cleaner to join our friendly and vibrant team!

This important role helps us maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our children, staff, and visitors—supporting everything we do each day.

🧼 What you’ll be doing:
• Keeping all nursery areas clean and tidy, including classrooms and play spaces
• Managing cleaning supplies and ensuring they are safely stored
• Following health and safety procedures
• Supporting waste and recycling routines
• Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns

🕒 Hours:
2 hours per day, Monday–Friday
Either 5:30am–7:30am or 6:00pm–8:00pm
