'Baby Boo' pram freemotion stitching, such simple appliqué in this project makes it a wonderful beginners mini quilt.
Happy Thursday everyone

A little appliqué progress… 🚜🧵
Cutting out one tiny tractor, and bringing it to life with a little free-motion stitching.
If only it was that quick in real life!
Have fun sewing everyone!

A Little Friend, continuing the doggy theme..
Created as a special commission many years ago this little textile picture tells the story of a faithful dog patiently watching the world from a cottage window, maybe waiting for his much loved owner to come home and play ball.
Made using appliqué and free-motion machine embroidery in a simple frame.
Happy sewing everyone

🐾 They're here! 🐾
After lots of stitching, designing (and a fair bit of resizing, copying, pasting and coffee! 🤭), my brand new Pawtraits Volume One sewing pattern is finally finished.
Featuring four friendly dog portraits: Labrador, Border Collie, French Bulldog & Cockapoo
Designed using simple appliqué shapes and free-motion embroidery, they're perfect for creating a cheerful patchwork cushion that any dog lover would be proud to display.
The pattern link is in the comments below.
I'd love to know... which breed is your favourite?

Bringing the Labrador and his bandana to life with a little free-motion embroidery.
It's always my favourite stage, when a few simple lines suddenly give the appliqué its personality.
Meet the Frenchie! 🐾
Those big ears... that squishy little face... I couldn't resist adding a French Bulldog to my new appliqué cushion pattern.
Watching each dog appear from simple fabric shapes is one of my favourite parts of the whole design process.
Happy sewing everyone

Meet the Labrador...
One little piece of fabric at a time, his happy face slowly comes to life.
I'm having so much fun creating this new collection of appliqué dog portraits, and I thought I'd share the journey with you as each one is made.
This cheerful Labrador is wearing a bandana it was just too perfect not to use!
Which breed would you love to see next?
