But there’s no time to be sad for long... next week, another SOLD OUT 2-week 50+ Course begins! 🎉 We can’t wait to meet all the new faces who will be joining our big international family.

🎶 A fantastic afternoon of music, tradition and dancing!

Our 50+ students had a wonderful time enjoying a lively performance by Mersey Morris!

Morris dancing is a centuries-old English tradition, with roots stretching back hundreds of years. Traditionally performed at festivals and celebrations, the dances often feature colourful costumes, bells, sticks and plenty of energy!

Our students had the opportunity not only to enjoy the fantastic performance, but also to learn more about this unique British tradition and its history. And the best part? They even had the chance to have a go at learning a Morris dance themselves!

It was a fantastic way to experience British culture, get involved and have some fun along the way 🇬🇧❤️

Did you know that the canal locks in Chester still use the same ingenious engineering principles developed over 200 years ago?

A canal lock works by raising or lowering boats between stretches of water at different levels. By simply opening and closing a series of gates and paddles, water flows in or out of the lock chamber, allowing boats to move up or down safely, without the need for pumps or modern machinery.

It's a fascinating example of brilliant engineering that has stood the test of time and is still used every day on Britain's canals.
