Is this good news ??
A level and GCSE results will now be based on teachers' predicted grades without the moderating process.
If students are unhappy with their grade they can choose to accept the result achieved in their mock exam or to resit in the Autumn.
Removing the moderation process will obviously increase grades for some, whether this is "fair" is debatable.
I do not believe, however, that any teacher would have submitted grades lower than the mock grade achieved so the second step is absolutely meaningless.

Now that we know there will be an exam resit opportunity in Oct / Nov, we have created a waiting list ready for our September reopening.
Time will be tight so we'll need to hit the ground running.
If you are concerned that this year's grading system will not provide the results your son/daughter deserves, please get in touch today. Places will be confirmed in the week following results day so there is no commitment at this stage.
