Yesterday’s Chester Law Fair brought together 26 law firms, barristers’ chambers, and legal employers from across Chester and the North West with our ambitious law students at the Riverside Innovation Centre.

The event delivered exactly what our students needed: direct access to legal professionals, honest insights into diverse career pathways, expert guidance on applications and qualifications, and meaningful connections with potential employers.

This success would not have been possible without the generous commitment of the legal organisations who took time to engage with our students, share their expertise, and invest in the future of the profession.

Chester Law School senior lecturer Gary Robinson has been shortlisted for lecturer of the year at the UoC 1839 awards! What an incredible testament to the enthusiasm, innovation and (dare we say it) humour that Gary brings to all of his sessions. Best of luck, Gary!
