Year 5 had a really informative trip to Childwall Synagogue on Wednesday, thanks to Dennis who taught us lots about the beliefs and traditions of Judaism.

Here are the class winners of our story character egg decorating competition.
Very well done to everyone though! I ‘chickened’ out of the judging and handed the honour over to Mrs Cottrell one of Lyme’s Governors. The overall standard was amazingly high. Thank you so much for getting involved, I hope you had as much fun making them as we did looking at them.

Our wonderful Academy of Sports Dancers finished off their 8 week course with an amazing performance for their families. The West End will be looking to recruit their next Annie from our amazing group.

Congratulations again go to Lyme as we received our new Tasty Tuck certificate and trophy for promoting healthier snacks and drinks in our school. Thanks go to Mrs Brooks who picked up the award on Lyme’s behalf.

From Monday Foundation Stage family members are welcome to drop in on any day during the hours of 9-11am for a ‘Stay and Play session. You don’t have to stay for the whole length of time 30 minutes to an hour is fine.
We very much hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to see your child in our school environment.

Well done to Morgan and Josh, receiving their trophies and certificates from Buzzee Bee for being two of Earlestown Athletics 'Players of the Month.' So far, Lyme has the most pupils who've been recognised as the best players for Earlestown! A fantastic record for all our footballers.
