Natasha and Sara from Wynne Construction came into our school as part of their Social Value initiative yesterday. They donated some tomato plants for the EYFS area and somewhere to store them. We can’t wait to look after them and see them grow over the last few weeks of the school year! Thank you. 🪴🍅👷‍♀️👷‍♂️👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

🌿 Year 3 and 4 Forest Club 🌳
This half term we ran an after school club in the woods.
We…
Planted sunflower seeds 🌼
Made bubble wands 🫧
Created some natural minibeasts art 🍂🍃🐞🪲🐜🕷️🦋
Decorated our own wooden medallions 🪵🏅
Built dens ⛺️
We also learned how to…
use a hand drill, whittle sticks with a potato peeler and light our own fires 🔥
And of course we had some tasty snacks too…
Hot chocolate, biscuits, S’mores, hot dogs, folded pizzas and banana boats! ☕🥤🍕🌭🍌🍪
Sessions full of skills, fun and smiles — just the way should be. 🌲💚
Can’t wait for next half term with Year 5s!
