What a wonderful day of celebration for our GCSE students!

More than half of all grades achieved were at 9 or 8, and 72% were graded 9-7 reflecting the exceptional commitment of pupils and staff - and the incredible support of parents - across the school.

The rain didn't dampen spirits this morning as our Fifth Year pupils celebrated outstanding GCSE results with family, friends and teachers at The King's School.

They have worked incredibly hard and can be very proud of themselves. We can't wait for them to join Sixth Form at King's, where we know that they will continue to embrace every opportunity and achieve great things.

Good luck to our GCSE students who will be receiving their results tomorrow; we're looking forward to seeing you all!

Results can be collected at 9am from the Vanbrugh Theatre with refreshments available for students and parents.

Staff will be on hand throughout the morning to celebrate with students, and to offer support and guidance.

We’re incredibly proud of the hard work, determination and ambition they have shown, and delighted to see them heading off to a range of leading universities for their next chapter.

With A level results day just around the corner, we are taking a moment to look back at Our Upper Sixth Leavers' Ball, held last month in Chester.

After two years of hard work, this incredible group of young people put their exams behind them to enjoy a special evening filled with celebration, memories of their time at King's, and a real sense of excitement and possibility as they prepare to embark on their next exciting chapter.

We know that great things lie ahead for this year's Upper Sixth leavers and we're looking forward to seeing them on Thursday.
