♻️ Recycling week ♻️

The preschool children have been learning all about recycling and caring for our environment. The children enjoyed sorting different recycling materials into categories, developing their understanding of which items can be recycled and how we can help reduce waste. They also listened to a story about waste in the sea, which encouraged the children to think about how rubbish can affect our oceans and the animals that live there.

🖌️ Letter recognition 🖌️

The preschool children have been taking it in turns to recognise and identify the letters in their names before having the opportunity to paint each letter using their fingers, following a letter guide. This enables the children to develop their letter recognition and early writing skills, while also strengthening their fine motor control, hand eye coordination and confidence in forming the letters of their names.
