Honey Bee House Childcare

Recently the children have been showing an interest in all things diggers! We have talked about the different types of jobs that different diggers do! So today we thought we would wash our diggers after they had done all their hard work! They are super clean now!

🌧🌧 It was World Rainforest Day yesteray!🍃🐸
This morning we explored a tuff tray with different textures and watched as it rained down on the tray below! It got all sticky and we enjoyed getting messy.

💧Paddling pool fun! 💦

We enjoyed cooling off in the paddling pool today. We also had some lovely water trays with different scoops and resources.

What fun we have has splashing and splashing in the water. We even put the slide in to make even bigger splashes!

This week we have had so much fun exploring the ocean and all the amazing creatures that live in it! 🌊🐠
We have had fun engaging in different ocean themed tuff trays and using our senses to identify different textures and animals within the sea.

Yesterday was World Oceans Day!
We enjoyed a trip to Waterways on the Wirral.
We saw lots of fish from around the world. Some were brightly coloured, others were spotted, some big and some small.
It was really relaxing watching them swim around.

A story all about helping to clean up our oceans.
Later we enjoyed an activity of our own helping to clean up the Honey Bee mini Ocean. We had to use our fine motor skills to pick out the plastic and rescue the sea creatures. 🌊
We did a great job. Hopefully the whales will come back now the Oceans is clean!

Nation donut day 🍩
This morning we went to forest school to collect leaves and sticks for our donut decorations. We came back to honey bees and made our own playdough as our donut dough. Once ready, we shaped our playdough into donuts and decorated them. We can't wait for a donut for pudding later on😋🍩
