This week, our Little Gems have been busy discovering all the different foods we can use to feed our hungry cows! They had lots of fun exploring our Forest School area, collecting and feeling a variety of natural materials and using their imaginations to decide which foods would make the perfect feast for our cows. It was wonderful to see their curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm as they explored the natural world around them!

Our little ones in Precious Stones enjoyed a fun and exciting food tasting activity, discovering new tastes, textures, smells and colours. The activity encouraged our babies to explore a variety of age-appropriate foods in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. From sweet and fruity flavours to different textures, each child was given the opportunity to investigate the food to great delight! They also enjoyed water play with funnels and bubbles allowing them to explore through sight and touch.

Our newest Precious Stones babies have settled wonderfully into village nursery life! Lots of explorative play, reading stories and outdoor construction has been our focus for September. We also have taken them out to explore the village seeing the cows at the next door farm and feeding the ducks at the canal!

Our Preschool children have been visiting Waverton Primary School every Friday to participate in Forest School sessions. These have been a fantastic way to spend a morning outdoors, making fires, identifying leaves and having toast and hot chocolate. Thank you Gemma our Forest School Teacher and Waverton Primary School for inviting us each week.
