The children worked hard to manipulate the pipettes, providing excellent exercise for little fingers. They thoroughly enjoyed drawing up the liquid and squirting it onto the paper towel. As the liquid absorbed and spread across the surface, the children watched as the overlapping liquids merged to create new colours.

This morning, the children participated in a vibrant sensory activity using coloured spaghetti. They demonstrated excellent focus and fine motor control as they practiced using scissors to cut the pasta. We also explored the unique texture of the cooked spaghetti, introduced early math concepts by sorting the strands into "long" and "short," and enhanced our language skills by singing songs about wiggly worms.

We've hit the ground running since returning from the summer break! All of our children—both familiar faces and new friends—have settled in beautifully. It has been wonderful to see lovely new friendships forming and so many fantastic opportunities for play and exploration already taking place!

We have been a bit quiet on social media lately, so here is a quick look at what our busy children have been up to! 🌟

Our days have been packed with hands-on play, creativity, and lots of teamwork. Here are some of the highlights:
🧩 Puzzle Masters - The children have shown amazing focus completing lots of different puzzles
🚌 Junk Modelling Magic - We recycled scrap materials and one great inventor designed and built a fantastic pink bus!
⚖️ Swing Success - Lots of turn-taking, sharing, and practicing our balancing skills on the swing
🏗️ Big Builds - Our little engineers took over the garden with some massive outdoor construction
📚 Cosy Reading - We love wind-down time with books inside our newly converted playhouse
