On World Book Day, Guilden Sutton Primary School officially opened their brand new Reading Cabin and we were honoured to be part of the celebration!

What an incredible community effort this has been - from our Christmas lights fundraising to all the parents, staff, trustees, and volunteers who contributed their time, skills, and creativity to turn an empty cabin into a magical reading space.

Seeing the children's faces light up as they explored their new book haven made it all worthwhile! This is what happens when a community comes together for a great cause. 💙

Thank you to everyone who made this possible - every single contribution, big or small, has helped create something that will inspire young readers for years to come! 📖✨

Over 900 button presses, more than 37 hours of music, and the most generous community we could ask for.

The lights are down, we’re making our list of repairs and improvements (and a cheeky shopping list for new bits!), and already looking forward to next year!

Massive thanks to Guilden Sutton Village, Chester Grosvenor 76 Round Table and all the community pages who shared, and every single household who made our village sparkle this Christmas. 🎅✨

Last night was our final evening of the Christmas lights for another year, and we just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who visited, pressed the button, donated, and supported our fundraiser for Guilden Sutton Church of England Primary School! 💙
