🎭 Play Writing at Stride Alternative Provision for anxious children!
English was all about communication skills last week as the young people became playwrights, creating and writing their very own plays. There was plenty of creativity, collaboration and, of course, lots of fun along the way!

We’re so lucky to have such amazing facilities here at Stride — including a real-life stage just down the corridor, complete with microphones and stage lighting to really bring their performances to life! 🎬✨

A lovely moment two of our young people with anxiety made friends at Stride 💙 These two boys worked together on skills games, magnetic chess, food hygiene theory sheets and other work. It’s so lovely to see a bond that’s so encouraging and productive!

Last week at Stride Alternative Provision for anxious children, we were working with Year 8 Algebra tasks. One of our Year 8 students enjoyed working with an interactive learning task on the laptop which helped support her classroom work and consolidate her learning. She gained great success with the tasks on the laptop and it was a pleasure to see her pride in her work.

Mr Basil from the Stride garden came today to give some World flavours to our anxious children at the Stride café today. It’s a Group of treats in our themed Buffet and as always, loads of veg with our ‘England Ham’ or ‘Spain Chorizo’ toastie options!

✨We really enjoyed connecting with schools and other Alternative Provisions last week at the Wirral Council Marketplace Event. We had some great conversations and lots of interest in how we educate anxious children and get them back to learning again.
