Not your average PT. Here’s why 👇
🍔 I eat normal food. I don’t weigh everything, track every calorie or panic because I’ve had a takeaway.
🏋️ I don’t think you need to train 6 days a week. I don’t even want to see most of you 6 days a week 😂
⌚ I love data. Until the data tells me something I don’t agree with, then obviously it’s wrong.
🥵 I genuinely enjoy horrible workouts. That doesn’t mean I expect everyone I coach to enjoy suffering with me.
🚶 I don’t care if you haven’t done 10,000 steps. Your body doesn’t shut down at 9,847.
📋 I don’t hand out generic meal plans. I’m a PT, not your mum. You already know vegetables are probably a good idea.
🏃♂️ I sign myself up for ultras and ridiculous challenges, then at some point during them wonder who the idiot was that thought it was a good idea.
🧠 Sometimes I train to get fitter. Sometimes I train because my head needs it. Sometimes I just want to lift something heavy and go home.
👨👩👧👦 My clients have jobs, kids, stress, s**t sleep, holidays, meals out and weeks where everything goes completely t**s up.
And that’s normal.
I’m not interested in making people live like a PT.
You don’t need to train every day.
You don’t need to eat perfectly.
You don’t need 10,000 steps.
And one takeaway hasn’t destroyed 6 months of training.
Train when you can.
Do enough of the right stuff.
Enjoy your food without overthinking every mouthful.
Be consistent more often than you’re not.
That’s pretty much it 😂
