🍓Jelly on a plate 🎶

Our littlest learners have had a blast exploring textures and their senses with our jelly activity 👀

We squeezed the jelly through our fingers and watched it crumble and break 🖐️

We had an obligatory taste test, of course, where we were met with strawberry and raspberry flavours 🍓

We used our fine motor skills to practise scooping with large and little spoons and transporting the jelly from tray to cup 🥄

Most of all we had fun with our friends, socialising, turn taking and using our early communication skills copying a variety of words and sounds 👂

🏡✨ EXCITING PROGRESS AT EARLY LEARNERS NURSERY - HOOLE! ✨🏡

We’re so excited to share another update from Early Learners Hoole, as the transformation of the beautiful old Spinney House into our brand-new nursery continues! 💛

It’s amazing to see the building taking shape and to watch our vision for this very special nursery becoming a reality.

🔨 So, what’s happening next?

We’re now moving towards the second-fix stage of the refurbishment, which will include:

🪟 Installation of our new windows and doors
⚡ Second-fix electrics
📹 Installation of our CCTV and security systems
🚰 Second-fix plumbing
🎨 Decorating throughout
✨ Flooring installation

Once these stages are complete, we’ll really start to see the nursery come to life as we begin creating the beautiful, welcoming and inspiring environments that our children will enjoy every day. 🌿🧸

We know lots of local families have been following our progress and asking when they can come and have a look — we’re hoping to begin nursery tours in the new building in the coming months! 👀💛

We’ll continue sharing plenty of updates as the refurbishment progresses, including some exciting before-and-after pictures along the way.

Thank you so much for all the support we’ve received so far. ✨

Watch this space… there’s lots more to come! 💛

🦆Quack-tastic!🦆

Huge thank you to one of our Mums in the Toddler room for letting us see all her new ducklings 🐥

The children from all rooms enjoyed sitting in a circle and taking it in turns to pet, hold and quack at our fluffiest visitors 🪶

📘Matching Mathematics 📘

This week in Pre-School we have been busy exploring our mathematics skills through real world play 🌍

We created our own car park carefully numbering each space and car then mixing them up to match the correct numbers, this was such a fun hands on way to build number recognition 🔢

We also used this activity to talk about our road rules, we practiced looking and listening 👀 we spoke about road signs and what they are for 🚙
