Stagecoach Performing Arts Washington and Chester-le-Street Providing excellent part time performing arts classes for children aged 4-18 in Washington.

A very big welcome to Stagecoach Washington & Chester-le-Street where we provide singing classes, dance classes and acting classes for children aged 4-18 years old. Our aim is to help every child in our school build confidence and life skills they can take into adulthood. We nurture young potential through taking part in performing arts classes in acting, singing and dance that are educational and

fun, as well as giving them regular opportunities to perform both within the school and beyond. At Stagecoach Washington & Chester-le-Street, our fantastic teachers have extensive professional performance credentials as well as teaching skills and Enhanced DBS checks, so you can be sure you’re getting the very best for your child.

Our brand new Stage 4 / Further Stages Company is for young performers aged 14+ who are ready to push themselves, develop their skills and be part of something created especially for our older students.

You’ll still work across SINGING • DANCING • ACTING, but with a more mature, company-style approach and the opportunity to take your performance to the next level.

And our main show?

You’ll perform the same show title as Main Stages, but in your OWN separate production, allowing us to tackle harder material, more advanced choreography and really raise the bar. 🎭🔥

Whether you’re considering performing arts as a career or you simply LOVE performing and want to keep progressing, Stage 4 is your next chapter.

What a week! 💜🧜‍♀️✨

The Little Mermaid Jr., you certainly stole our hearts!

In just five days, our incredible Summer School cast created something truly magical. From the very first rehearsal on Monday to two fantastic performances on Friday, every single student worked so hard, supported one another, and grew in confidence every single day.

To our amazing performers thank you for your energy, commitment, laughter and talent. You made us laugh, smile and, yes… shed a few proud tears! We couldn’t be prouder of every one of you. 🌊🐠🦀

A huge thank you to our wonderful team, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the magic happen, and to all of our families for trusting us with your children and cheering them on every step of the way.

Summer School is always one of our favourite weeks of the year, and this one was extra special. Memories made, friendships formed and confidence that will last long after the curtain came down.

Our favourite week of the year starts today! 🌊🧜‍♀️✨

It’s our SELL OUT Summer School, where we create an incredible musical in just one week! 🤩

Today we begin rehearsals for Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR., ready for our fantastic performances on Friday. We can’t wait to watch our amazing cast grow in confidence, make new friends, and bring this magical story to life.

Here’s to a week full of singing, dancing, acting, laughter, and plenty of under-the-sea magic! 💜🐠🦀🐚
