We are likely to experience extremely high temperatures next week and would like to keep our children safe and well. We are not going to be strict about school uniform. Please make sure your child is dressed in cool clothing, they are wearing plenty of suncream and please send them to school with a sun hat and water bottle. Children will not be playing outside during midday temperatures. Thank you, LF🌞🌞🌞

We are extremely proud of our year 2 children. The guide who took our children for a tour around St James' Park said that they were the best class he's worked with in a long time.... well done year 2. LF 🤗🤗

Child Safety Week is an annual community education campaign run by the Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT), acting as a catalyst for thousands of safety conversations and activities UK-wide.

The CAPT helps families build confidence and skills in managing the real risks to children's safety as they want all children to have the freedom to grow and learn, safe from serious harm - as do we!

This year, Child Safety Week runs from Monday 6th to Sunday 12th June, with the theme 'Safety in mind'.
