We recently took part in a community tree-planting project run by OASES. We walked to a nearby site and planted a wide range of trees, including Cherry, Oak, Pine, Willow, and Birch. It was a great opportunity to contribute to the environment and support our local community. Look out for our trees as you drive down Newfield Front Street!

Last week, we had a special French afternoon with our brilliant French teacher, Madame Paris. We enjoyed learning about where French is spoken and completing some French activities in class.

The afternoon was brought to life through fun and engaging activities. We learned how to dance to French music and listened to a variety of stories, all led by Madame Paris. It was a fantastic way to immerse ourselves in French language and culture while having lots of fun!

Thank you to everyone who came to our Spring Fair yesterday. A huge well done to our Year 6 pupils who ran many of the stalls and were incredibly enthusiastic. Also a big thank you to our group of parent volunteers who supported us too. We had a wonderful time enjoying the sunshine and even had a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny!

What a fantastic afternoon we had on Monday watching our wonderful pupils perform in our 4th Roseberry’s Got Talent show!

It was truly a joy to see so many children confidently sharing their amazing talents with everyone. From creative performances to impressive skills, each act was special in its own way.

We are so proud of every child who took part. It takes courage to stand up and perform, and you all did brilliantly. It was lovely to celebrate the different talents that make each of you unique.

A big thank you as well to the parents/carers for your encouragement and support. Your help and enthusiasm made the event even more special. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

This morning, Y2, Y5 and Y6 had a special visitor from the NSPCC who talked to us about how children have the right to speak out and stay safe. đź’š We learned the number for Childline and how we can remember it. The children showed lovely respectful manners and enjoyed completing their activity booklets.
