Debut Training Academy are excited to be offering this progression qualification for those learners that are interested in completing a laser and intense pulsed light qualification. The Level 4 Certificate in Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Treatments is a vocationally related qualification and is focused on reducing hair growth and photo rejuvenation of the skin using intense light and laser treatments. In this qualification you will develop an understanding of managing safe working practices and how to identify and control hazards. You will also learn how to identify hair and skin conditions and those clients suitable for intense light and laser system treatments.

On this class you will learn the following;

Management of health, safety and security in the salon
Client care and communication in beauty related industries
Laser and light treatments for hair removal
Laser and light treatments for skin rejuvenation

Course start date: 1st February 2022

This Debut VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy is focused towards those seeking to gain employment as a sports massage therapist working with the general public and athletes either employed or self-employed. This qualification has been specifically designed for all age groups and is based on the national occupational standards for massage. You will develop the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to competently apply sports massage methods to dysfunctional tissue and in a pre, post, intra/inter and maintenance massage context. It will include professional practice, expected standards, related legislation and legal requirements. Included also is a knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to sports massage and the principles of health and fitness which will equip you to better understand the athlete, their problems and how sports massage can help.

On this class you will learn the following;

At The Retreat Academy of Beauty we offer a range of high-quality enrichments above and beyond our funded courses which you will not get at any other training academy. This is because we want out students to be the very best in the industry and benefit from experiences which prepare them for their future careers.
As part of our NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy – Massage Route, we sent our students on a spa day at Glass House Retreat.
Glass House Retreat is a purpose-built detox and wellness retreat with a luxury spa based in Upminster, Essex. The spa offers a wide range of popular treatments for customers to relax and unwind including deep tissue massages, facials, nourishing wraps, cleansing scrubs, and full-body mineral boosts.
At Glass House, they have a strong selling point that it is totally about their customers relaxing and replenishing their mind and body.
Through sending our students here, they gain real life experiences in the industry they are working hard to qualify in.
From customer service on reception to understanding how other therapists perform treatments, these valuable skills help to develop customer service, communication, and attention to detail. All critical employability skills.
It also allows them to learn advance product and treatment knowledge and skills as Glass House work with the ever popular, luxury skincare brand Elemis.
Last but not least, this fantastic Spa Day ignites our student’s passion; motivating them to work hard and qualify their NVQ with flying colours to eventually work in this ever growing, multi-billion pound industry.
