As our Year 6 pupils close one chapter and open the next, we find ourselves reflecting on just how far they’ve come.

From their very first days with us to the young people they are now, they’ve grown in confidence, kindness and curiosity — and it has been a privilege to watch. They leave us for 14 different senior schools, each one chosen because it’s the right fit for who they are, with 93% heading off to their first-choice school.

💙 Six amazing kids, one huge challenge! 🌞

Ava, Joel, Mateo, Olivia, Elodie and Maya — our current and past pupils — took on a 6.5 mile walk across London’s bridges as Team “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” in memory of Chris, a much-loved parent and former pupil of our school community — raising over £1000 for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) 👏

Despite the heat, they did brilliantly and did us all proud💪✨

Congratulations to Fred and Oliver, who won gold in the Year 5 and 6 category at the Hertfordshire Schools Fencing Championship! 🤺🥇

The championships brought together over 170 young fencers from schools across Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties, competing from Year 2 through to Senior School. Fred and Oliver train with Paul Davis Fencing Academy, who run our school fencing club.

A brilliant team performance from the boys, with great teamwork, resilience and real sportsmanship throughout — and a fantastic achievement to bring home Chesham Prep’s first ever win at the championships.

It was a fun-filled, action-packed Activity Week in Nursery! 🌟

The children enjoyed an exciting range of experiences, including a fantastic football workshop, a special visit from an author whose wonderful story inspired them to create their own colourful jellyfish, a collaborative art activity with Reception and an engaging geography session led by our Head of Geography, Mrs Little.

♻️ On the Thursday of Activity Week, all the Year 5s took part in an Enterprise Day where they were tasked with designing an eco-friendly product for a panel of teacher ‘dragons’ to judge.

The children came up with some unique and original ideas which really impressed all the teachers.
