Year 4 have shown so much enthusiasm for learning this week!
In Literacy we have been focusing on editing our sentences ready to publish next week. I have been so impressed by their use of the thesaurus to improve their writing.
We have been loving our Science topic about Electricity. This week we used the skills of real life scientists by experimenting to find out answers to questions. Finding out how changing the number of batteries or bulbs changes the brightness of the bulbs. You can see from the excited faces how much fun this was - ask your child what we found out!
In Maths we created a giant class numberline to practise ordering numbers to 10,000. This was tricky but we're starting to get the hang of it.
A special well done to...
- Class Star of the Week - Dilan, who showed incredible enthusiasm for his learning in Science, alongside excellent effort in his extended writing.
- Dojo Star - Moussa, who showed consistently high effort to meet his target of earning the most dojo points. Well done for setting a goal and working hard to achieve it!
- Values Star - Raina, for trying her best in all lessons and asking questions politely to find out more about our topics.
- A special shout out to Luca for putting in extra effort working with Mrs Kapoor to improve his extended writing. It's made a real difference and you've written an excellent advert!
