Children in Owls 🦉 and Badgers🦡 are enjoying lots of discussion regarding the solar eclipse which is happening tonight. They have been using the chalks to draw the pictures of the sun 🌞 and moon 🌙 meeting in line and then light shinning through. They are also making their own projector which is a safe way to watch the eclipse 💚🐸

Owls and Badgers have taken part in a bug 🐛 hunt this week they found a caterpillar and a bee🐝 and some ants 🐜 to name just a few. With this they have decided to make a bug hotel using an old play house♻️

They have started this off but need your help if your out walking this weekend they need sticks🪵 leaves🍃 and fir cones. If you have cardboard tubes at home please bring them in too thank you 🐸💚♻️

With the continued warm weather over the last week the children have been staying cool indoors with lots of fun activities. We have had ice 🧊 painting in ladybirds discovering colours in the ice as they melt in toads, sensory ice tray in storks and a home made seaside set up in butterflies. Lots of fun had by all 🐸💚
