🌟 PARTY TIME 🌟 What an awesome day for a 10th birthday party… den building, perfume making, happa zome (which got made into party bags), space themed scavenger hunt, fire and smores and woodland fun. What more could you pack into 3 hours?! Well done team, what a cracking day 🥳

Holiday Club fun! Tye-dying with natural dyes, shelter building, tool use and more! We LOVE summer!!

MASCOTS 🫶 Fete no.1 completed! 2 more to go! Saturday’s rain didn’t put us off having fun at the fete! Thanks to everyone who came to see us and we’re looking forward to seeing how the hedgehog hair grows over the next couple of weeks! Thank you Heathrow Workwear and Safety Solutions for doing our uniform and printing our logo on our handmade paint splash / tie dye t-shirts!

“Where does Broccoli come from Mum?” Show your kids where the food from their plate comes from. They’ll not only love it but may surprise you by eating things they don’t normally eat at home. Walk them through the broccoli jungle, run down the strawberry fields to find the sneaky strawberries, dig up the bright orange fragrant carrots together and explore food at its best whilst creating great family memories.

YUM 😋 We extended our foraging, cooking and fire skills by going to the amazing Thank you for a unique, educational experience in your beautiful space. The home made elderflower marshmallows topped off 3 other incredible dishes nicely 🤤

Pond dipping at Laleham School 🪳 May - August is the best months to go pond dipping. Most creatures are active and breeding 🐌 The children also enjoyed making pictures from lentils and rice

Well done to Toad Hall Nursery for chopping fruit, fire lighting and cooking jam!

BE PRESENT. We all do that washing that needs to be done, do the dishwasher that has been sitting there for a while or send that text that has taken a week to respond to and say “be with you in a minute” when they ask to be played with. It’s hard to give kids attention all the time. Head outdoors and your undivided attention will be given, you’ll soon forget about the daily mundane chores which I can promise will make both of you happier 😃 Give kids memories by just being in the great outdoors 🐚 You’ll notice the rain more than they do 🌧️

Easter at our Stay & Play yesterday 🐣
We toasted hot cross buns on the fire, found some Easter treats, made birds’ nests, decorated Easter eggs, painted bunnies, got stuck in the mud and lots more fun!

🌳Stay and Play

🧸We went on a Bear Hunt last week.
We went through some long wavy grass and some thick oozy mud. We found the bear and our little explorers enjoyed a nice swing in the woods with the bear.

☕️Our little tribe created some bears from tea paint and resources we found on our hunt.

🔥We enjoyed lighting a fire safely and melting some chocolate to dip some brioche in for a tasty treat 🥖

We loved having our little forest school tribe yesterday morning!
