Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 6 hours per day)

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and caring Nursery Caterer to join our friendly team at our nursery in Chertsey.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys preparing nutritious meals for young children while helping to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, and cook healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children, taking into account dietary requirements and allergies.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
- Wash up and clean all kitchen equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas.
- Manage food stock, storage, and rotation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with the nursery team to support children's nutritional needs.
- Complete daily cleaning duties within the kitchen and associated food preparation areas.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team.

Requirements:
- A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures.

The children enjoyed taking part in an exciting "Around the World" food activity. They explored a variety of traditional foods from India, the United Arab Emirates, Spain, Mexico, Canada, Greece, and Thailand. The children carefully chose different foods from each country and glued them onto their plates, talking about the colours, shapes, and foods they recognised. This fun activity encouraged conversations about different cultures and helped develop their fine motor skills, decision-making, and understanding of the diverse foods enjoyed around the world.
