📣 Calling all Cheriton Fitzpaine Primary School parents!

Our PTA AGM is coming up, and we’d love to see some new faces joining us. 💙

The PTA isn’t just about fundraising — it’s a great way to meet other parents, share ideas, get involved with school life and help make a difference for our children.

There’s no pressure to make a huge commitment. Whether you can spare a little time, have an idea to share, want to help at an occasional event, or would simply like to find out more, everyone is welcome.

💙 A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO THE MEN’S SHED! 💙

We would like to say an absolutely HUGE thank you to the wonderful team at the Men’s Shed for giving their time, skills and hard work to put up our fantastic new shelter! 🛠️👏

This shelter was very much needed and will make such a difference to our children. It means they now have a lovely outdoor space where they can be protected from the rain on those wet days ☔ and enjoy some much-needed shade from the sun on warmer days ☀️ — allowing them to enjoy the outdoors in so many more conditions.

We are incredibly grateful for all the time, effort and care that went into making this happen. Your kindness and generosity will benefit our children for many years to come.

From all of the children and everyone here — THANK YOU, MEN’S SHED! ❤️

🌟 What an incredible year it's been! 🌟

As another school year comes to an end, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on what we've achieved together as the Cheriton Fitzpaine Primary School PTA... and what a year it's been! 💙

Thanks to the amazing support of our families, friends, local businesses and wider community, we've raised an incredible £3,845 this year through events including our Christmas celebrations, Bingo, Sports Day, Lotto, Movie Night, Harvest Festival, Ice Cream Fridays and so much more.

Because of you, we've been able to help fund:

Every cake bought, raffle ticket purchased, bingo ticket played, ice cream enjoyed and your time volunteered has made a real difference to our school and the children who learn here every day.

A huge THANK YOU to every volunteer, every parent, every child, every staff member and every local business who has supported us this year. We couldn't do it without you. ❤️

🌊🐙🐋 WE DID IT! 🐋🐙🌊

What an absolutely fantastic time we had at Cheriton Fitzpaine Carnival 2026! 🎉

We are incredibly proud and delighted that our amazing Under the Sea float was awarded 🏆 Overall Winning Float AND🥇 1st Place in the Under 16s category!

This wonderful achievement wouldn't have been possible without all our fantastic children who took part and the incredible volunteers who gave their time, creativity and hard work to bring our underwater world to life. 💙

From our giant octopus 🐙 and killer whale 🐋 to our brilliant bubble machine🫧, every detail helped make our float truly magical!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped create the float, joined us on the day and cheered us along the way. What an amazing community effort and a wonderful memory for our school! 🌊🫧🐠

We couldn't be prouder! 🏆💙🎉

🌞✨ The countdown to the summer holidays is officially on... and we've got a jam-packed few weeks ahead at Cheriton Fitzpaine Primary School! 🎉

☀️ What a brilliant Sports Day!🏅

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the PTA by buying cakes and strawberries during the break. Thanks to your generosity, we raised an incredible £222.60! 🎉

A special thank you to Thorne's Farm Shop & Cafe for kindly sponsoring the strawberries – we really appreciate your continued support. 🍓❤️

And thank you to everyone who baked, donated and volunteered. We couldn't do it without our amazing school community!

🌞🥪 You're Invited to Our Annual Summer Picnic! 🧺🌳

Join us for a relaxed morning at Jack's Acre as we bring our school community together for our annual summer picnic!

📅 Sunday 16th August
🕚 11:00am – 2:00pm
📍 Jack's Acre

Simply pack a picnic, bring a blanket, and come along to enjoy a few hours of fun, friendship, and sunshine (fingers crossed! ☀️).

This is also a fantastic opportunity for new families and parents joining our school community to meet others, make new friends, and feel part of the school family before the new term begins.
