🥋 A HUGE THANK YOU! 🙌

A massive thank you to these three young P.U.M.A. students, their parents, and an additional parent who kindly came along to help, for turning up on Friday afternoon and helping us move our Taekwon-do mats around! 💪

It was a big job, and having your help made such a difference. Your willingness to get stuck in and help out was greatly appreciated. ❤️

It’s fantastic to see our students and their families showing such great teamwork, respect and helpfulness outside of the normal training environment too.

Thank you all once again — you were a brilliant help! 👏🥋

❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR CHEPSTOW TAEKWON-DO FAMILY! 🥋

Over the past few weeks, our local fire crews have been battling the devastating South Wales wildfires in some incredibly tough and challenging conditions.

We wanted to do something to say thank you to the incredible men and women who have been working so hard to keep our communities safe — and so we put out a fundraising request to our Chepstow Taekwon-do students and families.

What we didn't realise was just how incredibly generous our Taekwon-do family would be! ❤️

Across just two nights of classes, you donated an amazing £260! 🙏

With your donations, we were able to put together lots of snacks, drinks, moisturisers and wipes for the crews at both Caldicot Fire Station and Chepstow Fire Station — hopefully giving them a little boost while they're out doing such an important job.

But our students wanted to do something extra too. ❤️

Our Taekwon-do students made handmade thank-you cards for the crews, which we delivered alongside the donations.

We also used the remaining money to put onto gift vouchers, allowing the crews to grab themselves a hot drink from local shops whenever they need one. ☕️

It was also an absolute honour and privilege for Mr Baxter to spend time with members of both stations, presenting them with their care packages, cards and gift vouchers on behalf of everyone at Chepstow Taekwon-do.

It was a wonderful opportunity to meet some of the people behind the uniforms and personally pass on our thanks for everything they have been doing for our local communities. ❤️🚒

To every single student and family who donated — thank you. Your generosity has allowed us to show our local firefighters just how much their hard work is appreciated.

And to all of our local fire crews: thank you for everything you do to keep our communities safe. ❤️🚒

Tomorrow is a big day for some of our Chepstow Taekwon-do students as they receive their GCSE results!

Whatever the results say, remember that your achievements are about so much more than a set of grades. The hard work, dedication, resilience and determination you've shown to get this far are achievements in themselves. 💪

We’re really proud of you and everything you’ve accomplished — both inside and outside the dojang.

We hope opening night is a fantastic success and that every performance over the weekend is filled with confidence, laughter, and well-deserved applause.

A few weeks ago, something happened at Chepstow Taekwon-do that made me stop and realise just how far we've come.

For the first time ever, we had a full front row of Black Belts.

Seeing them all lined up together was a proud moment and a moment I'll treasure forever.

Each Black Belt represents years of dedication, perseverance, resilience and hard work—not just from the students themselves, but also from the families who have supported them every step of the way.

To celebrate that achievement, we've created our Black Belt Roll of Honour, recognising every Chepstow Taekwon-do student who has earned the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt as part of our journey.

🥋 Exciting News from Chepstow Taekwon-do! 🥋

We're delighted to announce the launch of a brand new Little P.U.M.A. class for children aged 4–7 years!

Our Little P.U.M.A. programme has been incredibly popular, and with both of our existing classes now full, we're opening another class so even more children can experience the benefits of Little P.U.M.A.s and Chepstow Taekwon-do.

📅 Starting: Wednesday 9th September
🕓 Time: 4:40pm – 5:25pm
📍 Venue: St Arvans Village Hall

Our Little P.U.M.A. classes are specially designed for younger children and focus on developing:

⭐ Confidence and self-belief
⭐ Listening and concentration
⭐ Respect and self-discipline
⭐ Balance, coordination and fitness
⭐ Teamwork and important life skills

Every class is fun, engaging and supportive, helping children grow in confidence while learning valuable skills they'll use for life.

🥋 At Chepstow Taekwon-Do, we're always looking for new ways to help our students succeed. 🥋

Learning Taekwon-Do isn't just about what happens during class.

Confidence grows through practice.
Knowledge grows through learning.
Success comes from preparation.

That's why we're excited to announce the launch of our brand-new Chepstow Taekwon-Do Digital Academy.

Designed to support our students beyond the dojang, our Digital Academy gives them access to interactive learning powered by Kahoot!, allowing them to revise their theory in a fun, engaging way whenever it suits them.

Students will be able to:

🥋 Revise their belt theory

🇰🇷 Learn Korean terminology

📚 Prepare for gradings with confidence

🎮 Turn revision into games, making learning enjoyable and motivating

🏆 Work towards our brand-new Theory Excellence Award, recognising students who demonstrate exceptional knowledge and commitment before grading.

We believe that becoming a great martial artist is about more than learning techniques. It's about developing knowledge, confidence, discipline and a genuine understanding of Taekwon-Do.

The Digital Academy is another step in our commitment to providing the very best experience for our students and helping every member reach their full potential.

We can't wait to launch it next week and see our students enjoy a whole new way of learning.

A huge thank you to all of our amazing students and parents who gave up some of their time last night to help deep clean and do a little maintenance on our Taekwon-Do mats! 👏🥋

Your help makes such a difference and ensures our training hall is clean, safe, and ready for everyone when we return after our week off.

We're incredibly lucky to have such a supportive Taekwon-Do family. Your willingness to pitch in and help out is what makes our School so special.

Enjoy the rest of the break, and we can't wait to see everyone back in the dojang on 3rd August, refreshed and ready to train! 💙👊
