Mathern Day Nursery We offer full or part time places from 8am-6pm, Monday-Thursday. We provide care for all children from 2.5years - 5 year olds.

We accept the Childcare offer funding and the Education funding for England and Wales

Come and join us on Saturday 12th September for a fantastic family day out! 🌿✨

We’ll have plenty to keep little ones entertained, including:

🎨 Free face painting
🐾 Animals to meet
🫧 Lots of fun activities
👶 Mother & Baby Area with changing facilities and a shaded, comfortable space to sit and feed your little one
💚 Plus plenty of opportunities to come and meet our lovely nursery teams!

We can’t wait to see lots of familiar faces and meet some new ones too! 🥰

A huge thank you to all our wonderful parents for the lovely cards, gifts and kind words. 💕 We really do appreciate every single one of them and feel so lucky to have such amazing families.

To all the children who are heading off to school, we wish you the very best of luck for this exciting new chapter. 🌟 We are so proud of you and wish you lots of happiness, fun and success for the future. We will miss you! ❤️

We have a fantastic last week at nursery ☀️

We celebrated our school leavers with an afternoon party in the field. We had so much fun with:
Bouncy castle 🏰
Face paints
Hook a duck
Apple bobbling
Balloons 🎈
Bubbles 🫧
Magic show 🪄
Music and dancing 🎶
And we ended with a picnic where all the families joined us 🧁

We’ve had lots of fun activities this week.
We have celebrated national owl 🦉 day and national clown 🤡 day.
We have had some lovely face paints, themed tuff trays and crafts for both days.
We have enjoyed a lovely long walk exploring the local fields
We have picked some blackberries from our field, and loved collecting the eggs from the chickens 🐓
And we have enjoyed some yoga sessions in the field 🧘

We have enjoyed another busy fun week. We have had the dinosaurs in the sand pit. The children loved moving them around ...

We have enjoyed another busy fun week.
We have had the dinosaurs in the sand pit. The children loved moving them around to the mud kitchen to feed them and the water trays to wash them.
We have loved running around the field, and we had a present hunt. This was very exciting and they got to keep what they found.
We have celebrated national tiger day with all things tiger related and ‘the tiger who came for tea’ tea party 🎉
We also celebrated national friendship day by doing something nice for our friends, playing together and making friendships boards.
We found our first egg in the chicken coop 🥚 which was super exciting.
We have enjoyed lots of water play, reading books, and helping care for the allotment
