really does make So proud to have worked with this amazing bunch. We have learnt so much about Ukrainian food and culture, creating a feast for friends and family….we even managed to sneak in Nutella Vareniki 😍 we made vegan borsch, shaslik chicken, Olyvie salad, crab salad and vegan brownies all led by the kids with a little help from some fabulous Mamas x overwhelmed and overjoyed to be part of this, thank you and huge thanks for the donations from and plus huge thanks for helping chop, slice, wash and be thoroughly marvellous Bethan, Pip and the loveliest Miss Evans ###x Ukraine 🇺🇦 thank you ###x

Last night was all hands on making the vegan borsch and prepping the vareniki, the filling of choice is mushroom and potato. Can’t wait to get the production line going this afternoon, stuffing, shaping and cooking 😍

More recipe trials for our Ukraine Cookalong. First attempt at Vareniki and I’m definitely not great with dough and dumplings, but these are incredible. We’ll work on the presentation (please don’t judge) and whether to boil, fry or steam, but I can confirm that these less than attractive brutes taste incredible. Filled with a well known chocolate hazelnut spread and a big 👍 from Pip. Tomorrow will try a savoury version, any top tips very welcome .walks 😍
