Woodrow High House (Amersham) is having an exciting year and we are celebrating 80 years of outdoor learning, adventure, and life-changing experiences for young people.

The event is taking place on Saturday, 4th July from 12 until 5pm and should be an amazing day with entertainment for the whole family including:
Instructor-led outdoor activities
Local food and drink vendors
Community stalls and entertainment
Family attractions and games
A Mermaid!
Live entertainment from Sublime Science, a dance troop, and music from Haylee Duo

The event is not only a chance to celebrate everything Woodrow stands for, but also an opportunity to raise awareness of the important work they do supporting young people through outdoor learning, confidence building, and accessible adventure experiences.

SAVE THE DATE (Sat, 11 Jul): Support the amazing Chilterns Chalk Streams Project and all the work they do by attending this film. This fantastic story is being brought to life by Smoking Apples at Hats off, Chesham on Sat 11th July.

Meet Lyra, water explorer extraordinaire. One night, she camps out under the stars by her favourite willow tree. Daylight turns to moonlight and the tree comes to life, a spectacular giant puppet called Old Mother River. Together they uncover troubling changes in our rivers and how we can help.
This fantastic story is being brought to life by Smoking Apples at Hats off, Chesham on Sat 11th July.
Suitable for all the family come and see us at 2.30 or 4pm.

Our school is currently bursting to the seams with beautiful flowers. Our school community, pupils, staff, parents/carers and visitors alike get to enjoy them every day. How lucky are we!

Our Hepworth class (Y5/6) had a wonderful Mondrian inspired art session with Headteacher Ms Sutherland as part of their Activities Week this week. The finished artworks are incredible. Well done Hepworth! 🎨

A massive congratulations to our German Hairy Snails for getting a fantastic 3rd place at Chesham Carnival on Saturday! A HUGE thank you to all the parents, grandparents, carers, children and staff that went along and made it such a fun day out. Thank you to our Chenies School PTA for attending all the carnival meetings this last year and for making this wonderful event happen 🐌🌞

Restore Hope Family Proms – Saturday 4 July - GATES OPEN at 11am - Join local charity Restore Hope for a fun-filled afternoon of music, entertainment and family activities. Enjoy live music from the King's Chamber Orchestra alongside a range of attractions including a Helter Skelter, country fayre games, an obstacle course, a fire engine, and much more.
