🏅Sports day 2026🏅

On Saturday, our boarders took part in the school’s annual Sports Day, enjoying a fantastic day of competition, teamwork and house spirit.

Pupils ran, jumped, threw and pulled their way through a variety of events in a closely contested House versus House competition. We are incredibly proud of every pupil who took part. Whether they returned home with a medal or showed great resilience, determination and courage simply by participating, each and every one of them has made their families and the whole school community proud.

A huge well done to Mr Sutherland and his team for organising and delivering such a brilliant day. Their hard work ensured that everyone had a memorable experience.

We were also treated to perfect weather — it seemed to have been specially ordered for the occasion!

Congratulations to all involved, and thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success. 🌟

Week 6 unseen bits 🤪

💦ITS A KNOCKOUT💦

Our boarders laced up their boots last weekend for the annual “It’s a Knockout” evening, brilliantly organised by Mr Cooper.

Pupils worked in teams and took on a variety of fun challenges, including cream-filled games, water relay activities, flour challenges and some dizzy penalty shootouts, to name just a few!

It was certainly one of the messiest evenings of the year, but most importantly, our boarders created some wonderful memories and shared plenty of laughter along the way.

Note to self: bring a towel next time!

A huge thank you to Mr Cooper for organising such a fantastic event, and to all the staff who helped run the activities and make the evening such a success.

🎉Wednesday night is Movie night in Wilton🎉
Tonight’s movie is Hoppers! 🦫
The Wilton gang changed into their PJs and “purchased” their ticket from the shop along side their sweet or chocolate choice and once the doorman (Mr Bevan with a cockney accent) checked their tickets and showed them to their seats it was action on Disneys newest hit movie 🎥
We then enjoyed popcorn and beanbags as we spent the evening relaxing!

🏆WILTON HAVE WON THE HOUSE CUP🏆
Wilton house had a big win yesterday as it was announced that Wilton had won the house cup! This is all down to the children and their hard work, positive attitude and brilliant displays of our schools 5 C’s, we are very proud of the Wilton family. A huge well done to all the pupils that won awards in the end of term assembly, what a great way to end this half of term.

🤩Boarders house choice🤩
So what did Caldecote get up too?
Over the weekend the boys were busy as they started their saturday with matches. After enjoying the competitve play they headed back to house where they grabed their things and walked into town for a day out shopping. Once they got back to school the boys enjoyed a bit of down time in house with tech and some treats before heading over to the playing field to compete in some intense rounds of hide and seek and manhunt, things got serious as they hid, ran, duck, dived and dodged the hunters in what was an evening of fun!

The weekend began bright and early on Saturday morning with sports fixtures, where the girls showed great enthusiasm and team spirit. After returning home, everyone focused brilliantly on their revision — their hard work certainly earned some well-deserved downtime afterwards. The evening was spent relaxing with extra tech time, Domino’s pizza, and a movie night together.

Sunday brought even more fun as the girls headed to the Cotswold Country Park and Beach following brunch. The boarders enjoyed swimming in the lake, building impressive sandcastles, and making the most of the sunshine. Our Year 6 girls even filmed their own movie during the day! Before returning to the house, everyone enjoyed ice creams in the park to round off a wonderful trip.

It was a lovely weekend balance of hard work, friendship, and fun ahead of exam week. We would like to wish all of our boarders the very best of luck in their exams this week!

Our boarders took charge of the weekend activities and planned a fantastic afternoon together!

After a busy morning of cricket, the Wilton family enjoyed a big lunch before heading out to the park in the minibus. We started with a walk through the woods, followed by some exciting and competitive rounds of laser tag!

The fun continued at the park, where everyone enjoyed making the most of the equipment — even with a little rain. Back at Wilton, the evening was rounded off with dinner, a brilliant pick-and-mix treat during tech time, and a surprise pizza party kindly gifted by one of our parents with delicious Domino’s pizzas for everyone to enjoy.

A wonderful day full of laughter, teamwork, and great memories, finished with a slightly later bedtime for our boarders!🤩🥳
