I took the decision to become a home based child carer after having the first 2 of my children. Lovely cool shade in the woods this morning, exploring and relaxing in the hammock. We brought our adventure bag with us and explored the contents. They did colour and bug hunting, identified leaves and plants, collected nature treasures, did some drawing and played

We took time to discuss our new sensory area and think about our 5 senses. The children practiced their scissor skills by cutting some large chard leaves and helping harvest the lavender
