✨️ This month has been all about Gloucestershire County Council's commitment to making Gloucester and Gloucestershire safer with FOUR new publicly accessible defibrillators installed in key high density locations in Gloucester City Centre ✨️

3 at The Shire and 1 at Quayside

We are super proud to work with the County Council and to be able to share our mission across the county - and beyond

🅾️ The BIG news is we have installed 43 MERE Supplies bleed kits already with another 8 on standby. Show me a medic that doesn't love a Supplies kit, it's top quality.

🟨 They fit so well into our existing Defib Store Ltd cabinets Thanks to some simple signage instructions Neil Morgan its clear to see what is where - and how to access it when needed.

🔗 They are all added onto TheCircuit Sarah Black as 1 point of contact for medical emergencies.

British Heart Foundation are running a campaign to get to 125,000 defibs registered on TheCircuit and we're proud to contribute to this 1️⃣2️⃣5️⃣🎇

🧨The sustained hot weather is increasing the number of defibrillators being accessed We've had a VERY busy week last weekend with 4 accessed in 1 day - two for one medical emergency on Cheltenham High St where the patient was in cardiac arrest and our defib was successfully there on scene and administered a shock

💚 We wish the patient well and this reminds us why it's so vital that we have these publicly accessible defibrillators on standby and rescue ready at all times 🚑
A big thank you to our Defib Family & Partners in town centre for getting the kit back from the ambulance service and back in its cabinet where it belongs

Honouring their bravery and selflessness. They're the lifeline on the battlefield, running toward danger, trading fear for action.

They're the difference between life and death at the frontline.

We are privileged to support several combat medics - and in the coming weeks will share our next project!

If you own, manage or represent a business in Cheltenham, this is your opportunity to discuss the future of the town centre face to face with the Councillors and officers leading the Public Realm Project.

Hosted by Cheltenham BID, Gloucestershire County Council and Cheltenham Borough Council, this business engagement event is your chance to hear directly from the decision-makers, ask questions, share your experiences and help shape the long-term vision for Cheltenham town centre.

The public engagement programme has been running from 8 June to 20 July 2026 and has already generated almost 900 responses. This session is dedicated to hearing directly from businesses and stakeholders whose insight is vital to the future success of the town centre.

At the event you'll be able to:

Meet councillors and council officers leading the project.
Hear the latest updates on the Public Realm Project.
Take part in interactive discussions.
Share your experiences and priorities as a business.
Help influence the future of Cheltenham's High Street and Promenade.
We're particularly seeking your views on:

Creating a single, unified vision for the High Street and Promenade.
Using consistent design, materials and identity in future improvements.
Creating a town centre that feels like one connected, welcoming and thriving destination.
The feedback gathered will help shape future public realm improvements and support the development of a shared vision for Cheltenham.
