🌊 Happy Birthday Tidal Training LTD

🎉 14 years of information, education and inspiration for those supporting the most vulnerable, giving vital skills knowledge in the medical and clinical, bespoke mental health, child protection, learning disability, trauma health and social care and Qualsafe regulated first aid training spaces, throughout the UK and the Middle East

📈 Colin created and setup Tidal Trusted Intuitive Diligent Affirmate Learning in the 4th floor Trauma Ward Queen Elizabeth Hospital in 2012.

🛣 Since then, we have been on an incredible journey and Tidal now teaches 160 courses each month and 20,000 learners a year

🌰 From acorns come oaks.
Tidal is now part of Realise Training Group and Aqa Education education meaning Tidal's assembly group just got a lot bigger.

And that's perfect timing for a teenager with big ambitions and a bright future! 🗺💡🧡

💌 This month really epitomised the value of our relationships - not value in monetary terms - value in the richness of bringing people together for common good and a common purpose

With Defib No 1️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ installed we have hit another milestone

AND

5️⃣2️⃣ MERE bleed kits have already been added to our Defib Store cabinets - that's more safety, enhanced coverage and increasing access to lifesaving and lifechanging equipment in a medical emergency

Public Hearts Defib Campaign is the epitomy of collaboration with so many of our defib locations being charities community organisations friends groups and high density residential areas.

Over the years, supporting our emergency and essential services is a vital part of this - and none more so than Great Western Air Ambulance - who are a charity 🚁

So here we are in the GWAAC Bear suit with some serious dance moves on a very hot day raising money and awareness for lifesaving defibs

Thank you Morgan for rocking the suit 😊 🕺

Today's a special day for Public Hearts Defib Campaign and Cheltenham

We are installing our 125th life-saving defibrillator

This time last year we'd only just done our 100th and here we are making steady progress

Defibs are best located in high density residential and footfall areas as 80% of out of hospital cardiac arrests happen at home

As you can see here on St George's Road it's particularly busy and on the other side of the road, there's a row of beautiful Listed Regency buildings

It's a key location and we are delighted to support Gloucestershire County Council and the local community in placing it here

😊 Happy memories from September 2024 celebrating Public Hearts Defib No 7️⃣5️⃣ with our Key Partners and Defib Family at The Municipal Offices Cheltenham Borough Council.

🌟Relationships are the heart of Public Hearts and these are what makes our not-for-profit and voluntary community defib campaign the success it is.

🆕️ 2 years on, and we have placed another 5️⃣0️⃣ publicly accessible defibrillators to help in the event of a cardiac arrest.

🫀 And every time a defibrillator is accessed and used, thats another potentially lifesaving and life-changing chance for for someone when they need it most

And that's something we all want.
For ourselves and each other 💚

Teamwork makes the dream work at Public Hearts 💚

🤲 Greg and I make a super efficient tag team, effectively ensuring through a system - quite like crop rotation!- to make sure that defibs are clean accessible and rescue ready

ℹ️ That means updating everybody about upcoming pad renewals,making sure that batteries are in date and operational and keeping our defib family updated with what's going on with their defibs.

⚠️ Particularly when there can be shortage of supply around certain defibrillators

💚 So here we are, getting the basics right. And that's how over 99% of our defibs are always rescue ready and available in the event of a cardiac arrest.

🔛This is why being a proactive and regular defib guardian is so important

1️⃣ day the defib could be down to a battery bar - the next day it's flashing and that's the difference between a potential life saving shock and maybe one there isn't able to deliver to full capacity ⚡️

🔋So as Guardians, we carry a robust stock of spare kit including pads and batteries

🥋 Here's Defib No 16 at arts being fitted with a new battery after a five year shelf life
