Happy International Mud Day! (June 29, 2026)

Thereโ€™s no better excuse to squish, stomp, dig, and playโ€”because mud isnโ€™t mess, itโ€™s magic.

Some of the benefits of mud play may include helping kids with: creativity, fine motor skills, problem-solving skills, stronger immune systems, joy, and connection with nature.

Let kids mix up muddy potions, build mud pies, or just feel it between their toes. Simple, sensory-rich play like this is good for their brains and their joy.

So go aheadโ€ฆ embrace the mess.
